Copyright Policy and DMCA Notice Procedure

Last updated: October 13, 2026

1. Introduction

TechArrange respects intellectual property rights and expects visitors and contributors to do the same.

This policy explains how to report content on TechArrange.com that you believe infringes your copyright. We review copyright complaints and take appropriate action where warranted.

References to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) describe the relevant United States copyright procedure where applicable. Publishing this policy does not, by itself, establish that TechArrange has registered a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.

2. Content Covered by This Policy

Copyright concerns may relate to material published on TechArrange, including:

  • Articles, text, and other written content.
  • Photographs, illustrations, graphics, and other images.
  • Videos, audio, and multimedia content.
  • Software, code, and technical materials, where applicable.
  • Other material protected by copyright.

The copyright status of any particular item depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

3. How to Report Copyright Infringement

If you own a copyrighted work, or are authorised to act for the rights holder, and believe that material on TechArrange infringes your rights, please send a written report to:

Email: contact@techarrange.com

Please use the subject line “Copyright Infringement Notice”.

To help us assess your report, include the following information where applicable:

  1. Your full name and contact details, including an email address and, if available, a telephone number.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL of the material on TechArrange that you want us to review.
  4. The URL or other information identifying the original work, if available.
  5. An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised.
  6. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  7. If you are acting on behalf of a rights holder, an explanation of your authority to do so.

If you are submitting a formal DMCA notice under United States law, additional statutory requirements may apply, including an appropriate physical or electronic signature and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the owner of the relevant exclusive right.

Please provide only information reasonably necessary to identify and assess the claim.

4. How We Review Reports

After receiving a copyright complaint, we may:

  • Review the reported material and the information provided.
  • Request additional details if the complaint is incomplete.
  • Remove or restrict access to material where appropriate.
  • Contact relevant parties when necessary and appropriate.
  • Take other steps consistent with applicable law.

We aim to review reports promptly, but we do not guarantee a fixed response time. The action taken will depend on the information available, the nature of the complaint, and applicable legal requirements.

Submitting a complaint does not automatically establish that infringement has occurred.

5. Counter-Notices and Disputes

If material has been removed or access has been restricted following a copyright complaint, and you believe the action was taken in error or that you are legally entitled to use the material, you may contact us to explain your position.

Please include:

  • Your full name and contact details.
  • The material affected and, if available, its former URL.
  • An explanation of why you believe the material was removed or restricted in error.
  • Any relevant evidence of permission, ownership, licensing, or other legal grounds for use.

If you intend to submit a formal DMCA counter-notification, United States law requires specific statements and other information. These may include a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, an appropriate signature, and the other information required by law.

Where the statutory DMCA counter-notification process applies, the law provides a specific procedure and timeline for possible restoration of material, subject to the conditions set out in the statute. Restoration is not guaranteed in every dispute.

Send copyright-related counter-notices to:

Email: contact@techarrange.com

Please use the subject line “Copyright Counter-Notice”.

6. Copyright Exceptions and Fair Use

Some uses of copyrighted material may be permitted without the rights holder’s permission under applicable legal exceptions. In the United States, these may include fair use for purposes such as criticism, commentary, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.

Whether an exception applies depends on the facts and relevant law. Not every educational, informational, or non-commercial use qualifies as fair use.

If you believe material on TechArrange infringes your copyright, you may submit a report even if the material is presented as commentary, criticism, or educational content. We will assess the information provided and take appropriate steps where warranted.

7. Repeat Infringement

Where applicable, and to the extent permitted by law, TechArrange may take appropriate measures in response to repeated copyright infringement. Such measures may include removing material, restricting relevant features, or terminating access where appropriate.

8. No Legal Advice

This policy is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Copyright laws and procedures vary by jurisdiction.

If you need advice about a specific copyright dispute or formal DMCA procedure, consider consulting a qualified legal professional.
